Lucky me, it's a shared family passion!

One of my fondest food memories was a trip we made to New Orleans several years ago. You know when everything just lines up perfectly? We've made many trips to N.O., but this particular one was food heaven. Everywhere we ate - incredible! The other day we were recapping this exquisite bread pudding we shared - a memory that will last for decades to come.

In honor of good ol' New Orleans, here's a tasty creole black-eyed peas recipe! Confession: we make this without the liquid smoke due to possible carcinogens & it's still delicious!

Creamy. Full of creole goodness!
